Hi, I got my notice and was able to download a file but I cannot open it on my Mac. Any suggestions
From CarvingPatterns.com Admin You can use STUFFIT for MAC to unzip the files. Please visit this page for help on downloading and opening the files: http://www.carvingpatterns.com/articles.asp?ID=57

I have ordered the free patterns, but still have not received the download. Hopefully they will show up soon.
From CarvingPatterns.com Admin The free pattern orders have to be processed like a paid order. Once the free order is marked as paid, the patterns become available for download. According to the software vendor, there isn't a way around this at this time.

Original Review: 09/06/11 During checkout I saw this notice: Your pattern pack(s) will be available for download soon. You can check the status by simply logging in to your account and visiting: http://www.carvingpatterns.com/orders.asp
There was a delay but the patterns did arrive and they are great. Thank you.
From CarvingPatterns.com Admin 9/19/11 Thanks CarverAl. You summed it up perfectly. Again, only the "free" patterns are affected at this time. We hope to have the fix soon. All paid patterns are available as soon as the payment processes.

Original Post: 09/06/11 These two reviews are unfortunate, I too have tried to download the 'Free Pattern Pack' without success. I will keep trying as I feel the patterns are worthwhile. I have ordered from Carving Patterns and Lora Irish and have had excellent service. I know that Lora and her husband are very interested in serving their customers and will feel extremely bad to realize that others and myself have had difficulty downloading this pattern pack. Those of us who have computers know how tempermental they can be. Lora is a very talented artist and to own any of the products she and her husband produce is a real plus for woodcarvers, pyrography artist and furniture woodworkers. Sincerely, Kathy Robbins
CarvingPatterns.com Admin 09/19/11 Thanks Kathy! We have had slight "delays" in the system for FREE orders but they do come through... We have an IT guy that is now on the problem. Hopefully the delays for the FREE items are gone before we know it. There have been NO delays for paid downloads... those come as soon as the payment clears.
